Those of us old enough to remember the night in spring of 88 when this beautiful young lady stepped up to the mic, struck 2 chords on her guitar and blew the world away. From that moment until today,  Tracy Chapman remains the only musician in 30 years to have had both the sheer courage and ability needed to sing the truth agains the man-made oppression which governs our world, and insists we turn a blind eye to the extreme poverty and gross inequality that has blighted what we dare to call the post-colonial world.
